The one with a flipping new block

We've got a new block for your campaigns that will have you flipping with joy! Add an animated Flip Card to your sites to grab your visitor's attention and give an interactive element to your content.

As always with Raisely, we've provided a lot of options so you can customise it to your needs. Change the background colours, text colour, font size, the image used, etc. We've seen a few Raisely campaigns use similar custom components in the past and we're so excited to see how creative you all get now that we've made it available for everyone ๐Ÿ™Œ

Here's what it looks like in action!

The one where total signups was corrected

You may notice a change to the total sign-up figures on your campaignโ€™s dashboard. After hearing feedback from our users we have updated it to reflect only individual profile sign-ups. Previously it had been reporting individual & team profiles

While teams do get signed up, we realised from your feedback that most people use this figure to determine how many people are participating in their campaign. Including teams (which are already made up of individuals) in the figure was going against the intention for this information.

The one with Facebook conversions

It's been a little while coming โ€“ but that's a story for another time. You can now get better reporting and ad optimisation on Facebook, with Raisely's integration with the Facebook Conversions API.

What's changed in Facebook?

Over the course of 2021, Facebook's browser-based tracking pixel became less reliable as the internet became more private. To work around this, Facebook now recommends you send conversions to their platform via the Conversions API.

This allows Raisely to communicate directly to Facebook's servers, without anything getting in the way.

For you that means more accurate reporting on the success of your ads, and Facebook is able to better optimise your ads so they're seen by the right people.

What's new in Raisely?

You can now enable the Conversions API in addition to a standard Facebook Pixel under Settings > Apps & Integrations.

Enable the integration, enter your credentials, control your data sharing preferences, and even which events you'd like to send to Facebook so your Events Manager stays nice and tidy!

The one where message recipients are described ๐Ÿคฉ

We've made a small but mighty improvement to Messages. Now instead of having to go into each message to figure out who would receive them and when, we just tell you. In good old fashioned, plain, language. Right from the main Messages page!

The one when Activity Tracking got a new block ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ

We've got a new activity tracking block for you to add to your fundraiser's pages when doing a virtual activity campaign! When a fundraiser is doing a bunch of active stuff to help raise money for an important cause, it feels great when they can visualise their progress, in style.

CleanShot 2022-03-28 at 13.46.54@2x.png

We've gone ahead and added this to our Activity Event template. And if you are or already running an activity based campaign, be sure to quickly add this new block in your page editor. Your fundraisers are going to love seeing this new activity tracker on their pages!

Here's a closer look at the new block if you want to take in all it's wonderful details ๐Ÿ˜

The one with End of Financial Year Receipts ๐Ÿงพ

End of tax year isnโ€™t everyones favourite time of the year. However, this year (and for years to come), we hope this feature will make it a little bit easier for charities and donors alike.

You can now send Donation Summary Receipts to all donors at the end of the tax year (or whenever you like) to summarise all the donations that have been made over that period.

Added bonus: donors will then be able to use the summary receipt for their tax claims.

My colleague James has recorded a video tutorial to show you how to set these up!

For all our New Zealand charities & non-profits, you're up first. Enjoy! ๐Ÿ‘

The one with attribution

We've been asking you to work around it for years and it was time to build it in โ€“ better. Raisely now automatically records UTM parameters, FB cookie values, referrer, user agent, and page path with every action.

That means when someone does something on your Raisely campaign, you can now include the last set of UTM parameters which got them there for even better attribution reporting.

If you're running an appeal with multiple landing pages, you can use reports to break down donations by page and see which has been most successful.

Or, if you're sending supports to sign up to your peer-to-peer campaign from multiple places, you can see which are your most successful acquisition sources and track those right through to how much those supporters raise.

We'll save UTMs for up to 30 days, so even if your supporter leaves the page and comes back, we'll remember and record where they came from!

Here's where you can find the new data goodness.

In reporting

In your Reports you can now add UTM fields, path, user agent, and referrer for your People, Donations, and Profiles reports

In webhooks

Your Raisely webhooks have a handy new context object with all attribution information you need, including a few Facebook IDs if you're using a Facebook Pixel.

In the admin panel

You can view attribution when looking at an individual person, profile, or donation in the admin panel. You'll also see it whenever it's available by expanding items in the "History" tab in a person's record.

The one with the ultimate appeal template

We're really excited to share with you Raiselyโ€™s new appeal template! ๐Ÿ˜

As one of our most popular templates, it was due for a refresh.

CleanShot 2022-03-07 at 15.29.26@2x.png

Beautiful, conversion-optimised, and mobile-first โ€“ our new appeal template takes everything weโ€™ve learnt about building a best practice fundraising appeal and makes it available in just a few clicks.

Inside this new design we have:

  • A simple, mobile-first giving experience for the โ…” of people who will view your appeal on their phone.

  • A collection of row templates, so you can build an appeal page that suits your story.

  • New blocks to celebrate your ambassadors, donors, and beneficiaries.

Like every Raisely template, it takes moments to apply your charityโ€™s brand and launch your campaign.

Keen to dive in more? Hereโ€™s a live preview.

Or better yet, try the new Template out for yourself!

And lastly, here's James showing off how easy it is to use the new template and create an awesome & custom campaign in no time!

The one where matched giving opportunities multiplied

We now support having multiple active Matched Giving periods at a time!

This means you can now set up different matched giving periods for different fundraising profiles - all during the same time.

We haven't changed anything about how you set up a Matched Giving period in Raisely. We've just giving you more options for how you can take advantage of it ๐Ÿ’ž

The one where media went organisation-wide ๐Ÿž

When adding media assets to a new campaign, you shouldn't have to re-upload the same logo you've used for the last 2 campaigns. Or any other assets that you re-use across multiple campaigns. That's why we've released an Organisation Level Media Library! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Things added to this Media Library are accessible across all of your campaigns. And you can easily tell your campaign media apart from your organisation media.

CleanShot 2022-02-18 at 08.56.20@2x.png

If you want to check it out, simply go to Organisations, and you'll find your new Media Library near the bottom. Have a great day!
